V-Vehicle Co. Communications Portal Now Available
Portal provides opportunity to sign up for e-mail updates on future hiring plans and application process
BATON ROUGE, La. - Louisiana Economic Development with Louisiana FastStart™ recently launched a communications portal for V-Vehicle Co., a new American car company locating its first automotive assembly site in Monroe, La.
Users can now find answers about V-Vehicle's future hiring plans and employment application process on one comprehensive site. Although V-Vehicle is not accepting applications at this time, users can sign up to receive e-mail updates about the company's future employment opportunities and the latest company news.
"This portal is only the first step to creating customized workforce recruitment, screening and training for V-Vehicle," said LED Secretary Stephen Moret. "Louisiana FastStart is well-positioned to meet V-Vehicle's aggressive launch schedule for the Monroe facility."
In upcoming months, Louisiana FastStart, a turnkey workforce solutions program for new or expanding businesses, will assist V-Vehicle in creating and executing a strategic workforce development plan to recruit and train qualified applicants.
"The FastStart program is one of the many reasons we selected Monroe, La., as the site of our first assembly plant," said Frank Varasano, founder and CEO of V-Vehicle Co. "Its assistance with employee recruitment, screening and training will help us get up and operating more quickly. It was a clear demonstration that state and local officials understood our needs."
In the future, the portal will include an online application submission process. For more information regarding V-Vehicle's hiring plans and to watch a brief video highlighting the vision behind V-Vehicle, visit VVehicleLouisianaJobs.com.
