Shreveport introduced curb-side recycling last year, now the city is participating in Earth Aid, a new program for energy and water efficiency that will give participating citizens discounts at participating local businesses and free trees if they lower energy and water usage.  Shreveport is the second city after Washington, DC to participate in this program. This is an innovative public-private partnership to save our natural resources.
