With $135,000 in grants from oil & gas companies Encana and Shell, Southern University at Shreveport and Bossier Parish Community College will each offer two free, week-long Energy Camps for 10th-graders in Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, Webster, Bienville, Claiborne and Red River parishes.  Through hands-on activities and field trips, students will learn about energy sources, efficiency and conservation.
