Stageworks in downtown Shreveport will soon have some new activity as Fox Television Studios is preparing to begin filming "The Gates," a one-hour drama that will air on ABC.  Read more about the series at the Shreveport Times.

The look of Shreveport Bossier, which has been portrayed as cities as diverse as New York and Portland, as well as the film-friendliness and ready crews in the area, made this an easy location decision.  Also playing a significant role in the decision was the state's generous tax incentive for film and TV production.
